Build the future of flight
Are you ready to leave your mark on the next generation of aircraft?
We are representing a global powerhouse in the aerospace industry with over 40 years of excellence in designing and manufacturing high-performance aerostructures.
Our client is launching a brand-new technical center for composite engineering in Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto), and we are looking for visionary Composite Materials Engineers to lead this journey. This isn’t just a job; it’s a seat at the table of a project that bridges cutting-edge technology transfer between Spain and Portugal, impacting major international aircraft OEMs.
If you live for technical challenges and want to be a pioneer in a state-of-the-art facility, this is your call.
What your responsibilities will be?
As a key member of the engineering team, you will drive the industrialization of critical engine components. Your mission includes:
Leading the definition and implementation of industrial processes using advanced composites (RTM, dry fiber, prepregs).
Mastering technical documentation for seamless production and rigorous inspection standards.
Solving complex manufacturing puzzles, providing on-site support to resolve technical bottlenecks.
Bridging innovation by coordinating non-conformities and collaborating with international technical departments.
Driving technology transfer, acting as the technical link between the Spanish units and the Portuguese plant.
Fueling growth through active participation in bids, new product development (NPD), and continuous improvement initiatives.

Exceptional profiles: We value talent over titles. If you have extensive hands-on experience in composite manufacturing, we want to meet you.
Experience
6 to 10 years of experience in design, development, or industrialization of composite processes.
2 to 3 years of solid technical experience? We also have a place for you if your foundations are solid.
Industry background: Experience in Aerospace is highly preferred, but experts from Automotive or Wind Energy with deep RTM knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Tools & technical knowledge
Advanced processes: Proven expertise in RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding), Prepreg, Dry Fiber, and manual lay-up.
Post-processing: Knowledge of machining, painting, and high-precision inspection (CMM, Ultrasonic).
Material science: Deep understanding of fibers, resins, adhesives, and core materials.
Engineering software: Proficiency in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX; experience with material simulation software is a plus.
Language
English (advanced): Essential for daily collaboration with international clients.
Spanish (desirable): A great plus to facilitate seamless communication with the technical teams in Spain.
Skills
A collaborative spirit tailored for transversal technical structures.
Proactive "get-it-done" attitude with strong organizational DNA.
Decisive nature in complex engineering environments.
A customer-centric mindset (internal and external).
Core values: Commitment, adaptability, integrity, and discipline.
What we offer?
Competitive compensation: A salary range of €30,000 – €35,000 gross per year (negotiable based on your unique expertise).
Performance Bonus: An annual bonus of up to 7.5%, rewarding your impact and results.
Meal allowance: Included per Portuguese regulations.
Relocation support: We help you make Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto area) your new home with partial relocation assistance.
Stability & gowth: A 100% on-site role that ensures you are at the heart of the action, building a long-term career in a growing industrial group.
Why apply?
This is a rare opportunity to be part of the foundation of a technical excellence center. You won’t just be another engineer; you will be an architect of the plant’s success. You will work on high-stakes international projects, refine your expertise in advanced composites, and grow within a company that values technical mastery and human integrity.
